Our sites
The expression of our wines largely depends on the terroir they are grown on. We are convinced that top wines need excellent soil; the terroir is the foundation of a first-class wine. Our oldest vineyards in the Steeger Valley are the two top sites Steeger St. Jost and Bacharacher Wolfshöhle, which are each classified as VDP.GROSSE LAGE. South of Bacharach lies the vineyard Schloss Fürstenberg, which is classified as a VDP.FIRST SITE and gives expression to our sparkling wines. The variety of the vineyards of our company is completed by the VDP.ERSTE LAGE Bacharacher Kloster Fürstental.
